Kleinkaap estate boasts the original manor house built on Clubview farm in 1920 by General Frank Dyson, the first owner of this beautiful property.  In those early days they farmed cattle, fowl and even trout at Kleinkaap.

In keeping with tradition, the current owners, the Malan family have expanded the estate maintaining the original Cape Dutch style architecture. Currently there are four grain silos, huge shady trees, and of course the homestead left on the estate to remind us of our proud heritage.  

Garden weddings and functions are held in this lush tranquil setting under the oak trees. The beautiful gardens are the dream venue for wedding photographs. Should you choose to have a more intimate wedding, banqueting halls and other indoor venue's are also available. Secure parking for all guests is within the estate.  Our chef will ensure that your guests have a memorable and unforgettable experience. 

Included  in Price:

 

·   All standard furniture & equipment

·   A variety of iron flower/candle stands

·   Complete table setting with table linen and linen napkins, dinnerware, glasses and cutlery

·   Silver underplates (33cm). Our main course plates are 31cm.

·   Full bar facilities are available

·   PA system for background music

·   White or green umbrellas

·   Dance floor area & feature fireplace

·   Waiters and Bar attendants for a 6 (six) hour shift (shift starts 1 ½ hours before the function and ends an ½ hour after the function). We will provide one waiter per 20 guests, and one bar attendant per 50 guests.

 

Halaal and Kosher meals are available on request. A surcharge of R100 per meal will be charged. Other special dietary requirements are also available.

Please note that no outside or private catering is permitted at Kleinkaap

 

Children under the age of ten years will be charged 50% of the agreed adult menu price.  Children under the age of two years will not be charged.  The minimum guests must consist out of adults and thereafter the amount of children can be considered.

 

Evening functions closes at 24h00, extension may be made prior arrangement and is charged R1250 per hour as well as the extra hours of the waiters and barmen will be charged.

 

 

R630 per hour is charged for extra usage of the bar after 23h00 prior arrangements.

The use of the venue before or after the stipulated times will be charged accordingly.

Some may be negotiated at an extra cost.

  • Should the waiters and bar attendants work longer than the 6 hours, the standard hourly rate per waiter will be charged, R35 per hour per waiter, and R40 per hour per bar attendant. These prices are subject to change.
  • Additional 3rd party operators - DJ, photographer
  • Kleinkaaps own sound systems and DJ are available for your convenience can be made use of at an additional cost of R3000. Please book in advance at the office.
  • Catering excluded for 3rd party operators is charged at a normal Adult rate (see price package per person). If not arranged, the amount will be deducted from the deposit.

  • The usage of the projector and screen will be R880, and only Kleinkaap will operate with the equipment.
  • We have two vintage cars, a 1929 Chevrolet Tourer and a 1933 Morris Ten which are available for photographic purposes, at an additional cost of R500 per car.

 

Confirmation and deposit payments

  • Bookings will only be considered secured upon receipt of refundable deposit of R3000. Deposit will be refunded within 20 working days after function date (terms and conditions apply).
  • By paying a deposit, you indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions of Kleinkaap.
  • In the event of non-payment of the deposit within the time specified, Kleinkaap shall be entitled to cancel the booking after giving the client written notice.
  • Menu choice & number of guests should be confirmed 4 weeks prior to the function
  • Kleinkaap requires a 50% payment of the pro-forma invoice 4 months prior to the function date. The balance of the pro-forma invoice is payable at least 30 days prior to the function date.

Take note: the final number of guests will not be changed after two weeks prior to the function.  Kleinkaap must be informed two weeks before function date regarding re payment of extra guests with your deposit.
